Kelly Panacci – Inspired by Art
After graduating from college as a graphic artist, Kelly started her career at a Toronto ad agency where she enjoyed the fast-paced environment of photoshoots, illustrations and deadlines but after a few years of commuting and the start of a young family, she chose to stay at home to raise her children. The desire to create however, led her to start home-based businesses producing one-of-a-kind items ranging from air brushed garments and jewelry to intricate custom home portraits. In 1994, with her 3 kids at school full time, Kelly traded her art supplies for a Mac computer and accepted an illustrator position with Sandylion Sticker Designs where she created award winning designs in the emerging scrapbook industry. Kelly founded Kelly Panacci Inc. in 2003 so she could continue creating scrapbook designs but in her own signature style licensed to Sandylion. Kelly Panacci Inc./Sandylion scrapbook products grew to over 200 and lead in sales becoming Sandylion's top independent license.
In 2009 as Sandylion exited the scrapbook industry, Kelly and Mario signed an exclusive art license agreement with industry leaders eksuccess and K&Company. This new partnership promises to produce even better products available in more stores inspiring more people to create.
When Kelly is not in her studio working on her next collection she is out-and-about teaching her craft, traveling for inspiration or spending time on the family farm walking and connecting with nature. Kelly and her husband Mario operate their art licensing studio from their century home near Toronto, Canada.
