The raking has begun at our house and will keep us busy for a bit as we stuff the paper bags to get ready for pick-up. This picture was taken just outside my studio a couple of weeks ago. All those leaves have fallen now. I found that around 4 in the afternoon was the best time to catch the contrast of the turning leaves. On Hallowe'en Day it was overcast and not the best for
photography, but I wanted a shot of the "carpet" of leaves before Mr.
Pinoochi cleared a path for the trick or treaters. The "carpet" is now but a photo memory.
