Diehard quilters know about the "Road to California Quilt show", but it's all new to me. It was a little overwhelming to be surrounded by hundreds of vendors, thousands of fabric choices, notions, tools and machines that do everything except make a coffee. It was a great experience though and the best part was seeing our first fabric collection "Morning Song" featured in one of the vendor booths. Here are some pics of the day.
This was funny (although my hubby didn't think so) - the show organizers converted the men's restrooms to more restrooms for women. Obviously, not many men attend the show.
Here is a quilt made from our fabric collection "Morning Song". It was stuffed into a very busy vendor's booth "Quilter's Cocoon" from Riverside, CA. Love the top stitched butterflies on this!
Here are some of the fabric bolts from "Morning Song".
The panel was packaged in a bag for $9.95 (the panel is the middle piece of the quilt pictured above).
Here are some of the gallery quilts that caught my eye.
It was a great side trip to Ontario, CA. I'll post more of our winter road trip adventures soon ; )
