Cirque du Soleil is in town under the Grand Chapiteau in the Portlands of Toronto and what an amazing show it is!
I bought the tickets ages ago for Mr. Pinoochi's birthday and the kids all came home for the occasion. We sat in the front row (which we were cautioned against) and our son got called up (or picked on) because of his shaved head - he looked like the "ovo". It was quite hilarious as he was prodded to beat his chest and do other silly things in an effort to attract the lead insect character. He was a good sport about being under the spotlight as we all laughed at him (I mean with him) from the safety of our seats. I couldn't take any pictures as it's not allowed but we won't soon forget our experience. The show leaves Toronto next week and heads for San Francisco, Philadelphia and other US cities. Definitely see it if you can. We loved it!

Because our kids come and go from home and school and at different times, it's tough to get family photos. Thankfully, they let me stand in front of them with a live camera after we had dinner just before the show. These were taken at the historic distillery district in Toronto.
