We're back from sunny California and CHA (Craft and Hobby Association trade show). The Los Angeles Convention center was the venue for the winter show which was a switch-up from past years in Anaheim.
Located in downtown LA, we were able to walk to LA Live for special events. We went to the Conga Room and were amazed by the architecture - it was a dynamic backdrop for the Global Gathering: International Reception that we attended.
One of the focal points in the Conga Room is this glowing structure that ascends to the ceiling. The steps of the latin rumba dance were the inspiration for the diamond pattern that dazzles the room. Who knew ??
But there was work to do too and we were participating in a mega workshop featuring Canadian designers, manufacturers and publishers. Here are some pics from our display table where we showcased our new collection from K&Company. They were so generous and provided fabulous kits for each of the 75 participants. I have one left to give away, so I'll blog about that tomorrow.
Thanks to Christine Urias and Photo Scraps for their photos from the event!
