If only I was a Grandma (she said longingly), I would sit down to make this cute kit with my grandkids. Since that is not in the current forecast, I decided to give it a quick test-drive before giving it away to my dear friend who does have 3 little cuties. Here is what the kit looks like once you empty the package and punch-out the pieces.
The house and roof are 2 pieces each, so I used Stix2Kooltak (SFL-12) double-sided tape to make sure the house will be stable when little hands start to play with it.
The kit comes with dimensional adhesive strips which are great for all the chipboard embellishments.
I'm going to let the little ones finish decorating the house exterior and they can have fun playing with the stand-up characters too. This is a fun and easy project to do with the kids!
I just noticed that this kit and the other pieces of our halloween collection are on sale now (October 9-15) at Two Peas in a Bucket (only $7.72 US dollars - a bargain!!). P.S. If you're going to Scrapfest in Oshawa, don't forget to mention it here for your chance at winning the stamp set prize.
